3 months ago, in our little secret Facebook group, after posting a succession of sexcapades, some ladies suggested I start a blog.

I was told that my British self-deprecating sense of humour, honesty and candour made my tales relatable for other women.

I decided to give it a bash, starting with just a handful of followers and mostly kept it private. It turns out I was rather good at it and quite enjoyed the distraction.

Fast forward 3 months and I have hit over 10,000 views. I am totally astonished by that, and incredibly grateful for the continuous support I receive. I really feel that people are championing us to get preggo!

So now I literally have friends, relatives, colleagues, neighbours, acquaintances and strangers reading my blog. I don’t even feel embarrassed about it.

Having sex and trying to make a baby is a natural thing. It is not shameful, or embarrassing, or something to be kept hidden. More people should be honest about how difficult this process can be. I wish I knew a year ago! So if one person following this blog is a little bit more educated and aware of the highs and lows, then this blog is doing what I wanted it to do.

And I’ll continue letting you guys into our bedroom until we get our BFP.

In a metaphorical sense, of course.

Anything else would just be weird…

  1. Wow!! Congratulations! That’s exciting! Lol at sharing your blog with everyone. The only one that knows about my blog is my husband but he doesn’t know my website address. He is aware of things I post but then I won’t write freely if I’m hurting someone’s feelings lol. Also sending baby dust your way. ✨

    1. Thank you! I never actually told my hubby the address for my blog either, but because it my blog’s Facebook page (which doesn’t have my name attached to it) spread like wildfire across social media, and he saw mutual friends liking and commenting on posts, it was therefore showing up on his newsfeed. So he started clicking on the links and reading them himself!
